Side effects of NuvaRing may result due to changes in your blood clotting system. Some people associate the increased risk of developing blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks with the type of progestin in the contraceptive. Side effects should be immediately evaluated by a doctor because complications can cause serious injuries and be life-threatening.
